Image not showing in montage - Solved
Image not showing in montage - Solved
Hello!
I have a new system running on a nice machine with ubuntu 7 and zoneminder. I was upgrading from a previous set of server that was running zoneminder (liveCD). My current version of Zoneminder is 1.22.3 (old machine 1.22.2).
Now my problem is that on the Ubuntu machine I don't see any image from the cameras (all analog running through Axis 240Q). But it records the events and I can watch the recorded events. I just can't see them "real time" in the montage view. Any ideas what might be wrong? I can see the pictures fine on the old system both in montage and events.
I would appreciate any help.
/Cheers!

I wish it was so simple as a ff problem. But the fact is that I was able to watch D-Link IP camera in the Ubuntu version just not the Axis cameras. I am also not able to see any image in a IE montage. So it has to be something else.
Currently I am running the two servers paralell and I can watch the images in both FF and IE from the old server but I see no pictures in the montage on the new server. But it still records any movement, just doesn't show it in real time.
Got a few of pics of the situation
Appreciate any help I can get on this.

I see
can you post the path from the image on a live view on monitor 1 from both servers, ie old and new. Looks like a path issue somewhere to me

The paths are as follows:
Old machine:
http://192.168.1.64/cgi-bin/nph-zms?mod ... 1190639212
New machine:
http://192.168.1.66/cgi-bin/nph-zms?mod ... 1190638835
The only difference is the monitor number and auth/rand numbers.
/Cheers!

Hi!
I was out of town for a while, that explains why I haven't responded yet.
I'm not quite sure what you mean about mjpeg or mpeg path but the path of the host is on both servers the same (192.168.1.255:80) and host path the same (axis-cgi/mjpg/video.cgi?resolution=CIF&camera=1), I just copied the path from the first server to the second.
Regarding the IE question, I am not using IE. I am using FF.

Issue - SOLVED
Hi Guys!
Thanks for all your help. I have solved the issue. I followed the guidelines here: http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.ph ... _Alternate except for the source.list settings. Also I used mysql libmysql++-dev instead of libmysql12-dev.
Now everything works like a charm!
