Problem with a TrendNet TV-IP201
Problem with a TrendNet TV-IP201
This is an unresolved problem from this last summer. I have Ubuntu 7.10 with ZM 1.22.3 running fine with a TrendNet TV-IP100. It is set to Remote Host = user1:user1@10.10.10.13, Port = 80, Remote Host Path = video.cgi (also works but slower as image.jpg) I have a TrendNet TV-IP200 which produces M-JPEG images. I have it set to Remote Host = user1:user1@10.10.10.14, Port = 80, but I cannot get the Remote Host Path set. I have all of the latest codecs, etc. from automatix. I can see and administrate the camera in a browser at 10.10.10.14 with no problem-- although I cannot see a streaming image using the View Java choice. I tried xawtv -hwscan, but that does not even see the TV-IP100, much less the IP200. What am I missing (or not setting correctly) to capture M-JPEG images?

Will provide the camera
I forgot to post that I would be willing to send someone one of the MJPEG TV-IP201 cameras to get the information I need. I have 30+ installs with 6-9 cameras each so this MJPEG problem is a real show-stopper.

The 400 model camera uses http://x.x.x.x/MJPEG.CGI I believe, have you tried that?
Trend Net TV-IP201 Working
As James Wilson discovered, the path can be: /goform/capture I have not tried the mjpeg.cgi (above) but that may work as well. If I get an update on that for the Trendnet IP201 I will post that. I will have the TV-IP201P with the POE in a few days to test. I like these cameras because the lens can be changed from 6 mm to 4 mm with standard CS mount.

Not sure what you mean.
Not sure what you mean Tony. I am using many of the TrendNet TVIP-201 with the path set to /goform/capture and everything works fine. I do address each camera as a remote with a loginname:password@ipaddress.
