zmu applies changes to all monitors (should apply to one)

Post by TJBraza »

Hello. I ran into the following problem. Doing something like:
zmu -m 3 -C65000

changes the contrast of all my 4 monitors, instead of just changing #3. This is the same for Hue, Brightness, Color and Contrast. Verbose output shows it seems to be working with the right monitor:

"Monitor 3, Function 8192
Monitor 3(Camera3)
New brightness: 65000"

Why is it changing the color/contrast/etc of all monitors then?

Regards,

TJ

Ooops. I didn't know that. Is there any way to configure those settings individually?

not if they are on the same chip. If you have a multi chip or 2nd card then you can apply one setting to one chip and another to the other.

Alright, but what's the use of storing those settings individually on the Monitors table then?
