I am new to Zoneminder and recently successfully installed ZM in my FC7 box.
I am using a Panasonic network camera WV-NP472. It works fine with ZomeMinder if I set the image size to 320x240. However, if I set up the capture image size to 640X480 then no image will be captured.
Does anyone know why?

Image Size Problem
The answer is probably shared memory. Take a look at the Wiki for details.
I think everyone who installs ZM for the first time experiences this.
You also need to be sure that your capture string resolution (the URL) is the same as the resolution in the monitor source tab. In other words, if you change it in the monitor source, also check the URL (assuming this is an IP/network cam like my two panasonic BL series cams).
