Cheap, simple motorized cameras, IP based

Post by cbreaker »

Greetings,

I'm guessing you've been asked this a bunch of times, but I've been browsing the forum off and on all day without finding anything suitable.

I'm looking to get a couple cameras set up in my apartment; one for the living room and one for the back entrance. I want them to be motorized so I can remote in from work and look around.

Nothing too complicated. I'd like them to be IP based; makes sense since I want to be able to control them remotely.

Could anyone point me in the direction of some won't-break-the-bank normal resolution (VGA would be ample) cameras with motor control that will work with ZoneMinder?

Thanks a million.

You might find this reference of a static cam mounted on a toy USB rocket launcher to simulate a PTZ helpful if you're looking for low-cost apartment setup: http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewto ... ht=usb+ptz Definately will save you loads of cash over a $700+ PTZ
