Post by rickygm »

hello, I am trying to configure zm with cameras wireless Airlink 101 , I have a router dlink DI-634M I have open the ports 9293 , but I am not sure if I am making the correct thing when I add the monitors

these they are the data:

Router D-link : IP - 197.0.0.4

General:

Name: CAM1
Source Type: REMOTE
Function: Monitor
Enabled: check
Reference Image Blend %ge: 7

SOURCE:

Remote Host Name: ricky:PASSWORD@197.0.0.4
Remote Host Port: 9293
Remote Host Path: camera1.jpg
Remote Image Colors: 24 BITS
Capture Width (pixels): 640
Capture Height (pixels): 480

with this configuration it doesn't show me anything, I see in the log these errors:

Jan 22 13:04:12 xserver zmc_m1[13124]: ERR [Can't connect to remote camera: Connection refused]
Jan 22 13:04:12 xserver zmc_m1[13124]: ERR [Unable to connect to camera]

This means That either your port is wrong for this cam or the path is wrong or both. It could also be your login info is not correct. The cam itself is denying you access.
I would suggest trying without authentication on the cam first and get it working, then you can work at turning auth back on.

This is becuase your path for the cam is incorrect. So the cam is now letting you in but there is no script or image at the path given.
A search of the forums turns up that you path should be: video.cgi

zma has nothing to do if zmc for any reason can not capture an image.
zmc is the capture binary.
zma is the analysis binary that checks for changes in the pixils (motion) from a captured image.
So your problem is still the same, trying to get a image from the camera.

It means that zmc is still not able to get an image from the cam.
If you put the following in a Firefox browser you should get a streaming image:
http://197.0.0.4/video.cgi

If you do get a image in Firefox, check the properties and make sure you have the same image dimintions set in ZM for that cam. Also try /video.cgi for the path.

already try to put the 197.0.0.4/video.cgi, and the connection fails, but if I put in firefox 197.0.0.4:9393, I can see from my pc the connected remote camera to the router wireless

Router >>> 197.0.0.4
camera >>> 192.168.2.158
pc client >>> 197.0.0.2

the video resolution has it in zm 320x240 and the camera 320 x 240

thank cordel

that but it can be happening?

Opps, I forgot that you were using a different port so does the following work and if so what are the properties of the image?

So does that mean you can see an image in the browser with the link I gave you or does that mean you are confused?

jejej , if I am confused, because if I can see the image in firefox, that means that the redirect of ports and the camera this well, but the problem is that zm not this understanding the access to the camera, I have put in the Remote Host Path: /video.cgi

but it doesn't still work me, I have left loading the image and it doesn't show it to me
