State specific zones

Post by bryank »

Hello,

I was hoping to have varying zones that change with the state change, i.e. "DuringBusiness" state has a zone on each door, however "AfterHours" state has full coverage zone (only care about watching entry/exit during hours, but after hours want to see all movement).

Is this possible at all? I've tried but it doesn't seem to work, unless I'm missing something somewhere.

Thanks!

not that i know to but

you could create 2 monitors that have the required zones and enable and disbale as required.

I tried to do almost the same thing today. After examining the source code, it looks like that currently only the function and enable/disable of the monitors can be changed.

James's idea is good, thanks!

no idea if this will work. sure someone will tell me if its not possable.

Make the zone you want and save the data from the sql into a sql file then run a cron at the time to insert it.

Do this for as many zones as you need. I think once you change the database it should update the areas.
