Images and video

I have yet to try to install Zoneminder 1.23, but I have a question in general.

Can zoneminder take megapixel images from a network camera? at a good frame rate?

Can zoneminder then output a high resolution video based on those images? What about record on demand high resolution videos with audio? Such as if I want to record a business meeting or something.

ZM does not do audio.

The rest depends and the cam and the server you put together for it but we don't have any benchmarks really so I couldn't even say what would or would not be possible with MP cams.
