Cycle/Alarms
Could cycle view perhaps just switch through cameras in alarm state? With modetect, this would optionally eliminate cycling through empty rooms.

What would be shown if no alarm occurs on any of the cams?coke wrote:Could cycle view perhaps just switch through cameras in alarm state? With modetect, this would optionally eliminate cycling through empty rooms.

It could prioritise looping through alarm state cameras and show only non alarmed cameras if no alarms currently active.
Upon alarm, view could jump direct to the alarmed camera.

I'd vote for that. Ideally, prioritize by the ones with the most motion, but anything that ignores empty rooms would be good.
Similar but side note, I'm planning on incorporating feeds into webcams eventually, switching between busy locations. Actually, I guess if this were included, I could tie the webcams off of cycle. I wanted it originally so I could dump an extra machine/monitor somewhere that just floats through the busy areas. 500mhz + 21" monitor + freebsd = cheap monitoring station, plays well enough for monitoring.
