Right now, backup-zm only backs up config data. It would be nice to have an option for it to also backup EVENT data. An example would be that if I had archived events, that I can backup both these and my config, so in the event I had a system failure and had to restore it, that I would still have my archived events.
The way it currently is now, all archived events are lost with the backup.

I know this thread is VERY old, but now that ZM is part of the Fedora distro, I thought it might be a good idea to bring it up again.
I upgraded my ZM system in a serious way (moved from Duron 1.6 Ghz to dual-core 2.8 GHz overclocked to 3.2) and moved from Core 3 to Core 8 in the OS. Taking ZM right from the stock distro was nice, as there was no effort with playing with RPMs or compiling at all. Sadly, I noticed that backup-zm and restore-zm are still not included.
I still have the original ones that you made back in the Fedora Core 3 era, and will try to modify them to work with the updated setup. But do you have plans to make any kind of official one for the release distro at some point? And/or, with including events and not just config data?
