I am trying to remember, but I believe it was Ubuntu Feisty and the 1.22 deb that was compatible. I am no longer on either of those versions so I have no way to test.

I am assuming that you are using my debian/ubuntu package. -10 is built without ffmpeg support. There had been enough problems with it that I decided it was more honest to have it removed rather than in and not working properly. So, unfortunately, it working from the command line is irrelevant to it working from inside zoneminder

General question - is ffmpeg required for export?

Further, in looking at a different thread in 1.22.3 I have confirmed that export does work (at least for me) on 1.23.2-1

1.23.2-1 does have ffmpeg support thanks to help from Alexander Kushnirenko.

my pc two hhd wanted that in the second disc which this empty recorded all the events, that I must modify aside from ZM_DIR_EVENTS, ZM_DIR_IMAGES, ZM_DIR_SOUNDS?

I haven't played with moving the export dirs around so I don't know if there are any other vars you need to modify.
