I am currently running one camera at 640x480 but the quality is aewful, especially when there is motion. See http://www.ginnungagap.net/zmexample20040624.jpg for a screenshot

How can I improve it so that I can see faces and number plates?

I think that is all the info i have for now, if anything else is needed apologies for missing it out!

Thanks in advance

The jagged edges on moving objects is down to the way PAL and NTSC video cameras interlace frames, and there's not much you can do about it except halve the frame size....

Search for "interlace" to find other discussions on the same subject.
