ZM 1.22.3 on Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron

Hi Guys,

Just in case anyone was also doing this, I just thought i would post that i had success with installing 1.22.3 directly from synaptic and the 7.04 wiki article - http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.php/Ubuntu_7.04.

except that after this

sudo ln -s /etc/zm/apache.conf /etc/apache2/conf.d/zoneminder.conf

Then type this to reload the apache config

sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 reload 

I did not get an image once i had set up a monitor, rebooted, and all worked, then after turning on authentication i had the same problem, but after a reboot it came good.

Details-
Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04 AMD64bit
AMD 4200+ dual core
ZM 1.22.3 (from the ubuntu package repository)
