so doing Software VMD on 8 cameras is impossible (or at least close to impossible)
I own 4 Axis 210 and they have inbuilt well working VMD so im thinking ...would it be possible to implement support for this in zone minder i.e.:
* The camera signals the ZM machine that motion has occured
* ZM machine hits a preconfigured url of the Axis Cam (The mjpg url) and starts to record for a predefined time (or as long as motion is active)
Ideally it should allso grab the pre-alarm buffer that exists in the camera
the URLs for doing this is pretty well defined in Axis HTTP API description
(available on their website)
