Have done the check through doco, wiki, forum and I am hoping that someone out there may know the answer, or can point me in a direction to go

I use Zoneminder at our Church. Works like a charm

I have been given a webcam that I can use. It's an Intel Easy PC Camera. Standard looking USB camera. What I have found out so far:
It uses the SCPA508 driver (apparently).
It IS detected by the system (Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty) and /dev/video0 is created
I can see it with ZMU:
ian@zoneminder:~$ zmu -d /dev/video0 -q -v -s

Dmesg may also shed some light:
<snip>

</snip>
Not sure what the last line means.
Can anyone tell me what "Format: 49092 - Unknown" is in ZMU? That might give me a clue as to how to go forward (if there is a way).
BTW if I find the answer I will be sure to post as these forums have been a help to me in the past.
Thanks in advance
Ian
