Hi,
New to ZM and using the LiveCD version 1.22.x
Things work well, except that I can not see any image boxes in the browser (FireFox or IE) when I go to look at the stills or go to setup zones. The thumbnails on the event window have the same problem.
The actual files exist, and display properly if I use 'file-open" to the location on the server, for example, .../www/html/zm/images/1-001-capture=25.jpg exists along with another 100 jpg's in the directory.
What am i missing?
Thanks in advance,
JNK
Red-x on still images, zone, and thumbnails
Is this running from the CD or after an install?
Are the events being saved correctly to /var/www/html/zm/events?
Check the apache error log:
tail -f /var/log/httpd/error_log
Sounds like a possible permissions issue with the images or temp directory but you should not have that with the livecd unless you changed something.

This is running direct from the Live CD (1.22.x). I have not changed any permissions. Also, I can view/replay recorded events, but I can not see any still image graphics. For example, I can click on event1 for "testcam" and view the clip. If I then click on "stills", the next webpage has the broken image icons instead of the still image previews on the page.
The Apache error log does not log any error if I click on those icons.
There are plenty of jpg files in the .../events directory
Thanks.

I'm not sure which temp folders but here is the rest...

Cordel,
Both are set as follows:
drwxr-xr-x apache apache
/var/www/html/zm/images
/var/www/html/zm/temp
Is there anything else I can try? I might be able to run an install instead of running the LiveCD. If so, which download would be the best for a mostly configured install so I can get to testing faster?

First those settings in firefox mostly apply to streaming video, so while he might need them later, atm it is not the problem he is encountering as static images are not creating multiple connections to the ZM server.
I find it hard to believe that you get no error messages in the apache/error_log as a red X basically means the the image was not found by the server and always generates a message with the path that it expects to find the missing image.
Mind if I poke at the box a bit assuming it's available on the net? Just PM me the info if your interested. Otherwise you will have to go through all the apache logs and configuration which is where this problem would be.

Due to time constraints and needing to do testing, I took the 1.23.3 livecd and performed an install onto the same box. The problem with the icons did not show up, and it seems to be running great.
Thanks again to all for the effort and suggestions. I greatly appreciate it, and hope to be able to answer questions for others in the future as I learn more about the system.
