Cannot generate any events

Please help.

I've finally managed to get ZM 1.22.3 working on my Fedora 8 server after 3 long evenings. I can set up my webcam and monitor it. However, when I set up a zone it never triggers any events, nothing happens (no matter how frantically I wave at the camera!).

I was hoping to use the system to upload pics to an offsite server in case my computer was stolen, and I'd really appreciate help. The rest of the system seems to be running fine, I did a new install of Apache and MySQL and didn't change anything away from the defaults.

Figured it out...

Must have been the settings, possibly because of poor light. I made it EXTREMELY sensitive, then I started to get events.
