is there a MAC port via FreeBSD?
or should i have better luck running a VMware image of linux???
i also have a Orbit camera that i want to make use of. please help.
have a mac mini -- how can i run zone minder?

I don't know but I toss some stuff out here.
Is it going to be dedicated? Maybe you could get a Linux variant to install on the hardware? It might be a challenge to get the video streams working. My guess is you could get some usb cameras to work or ip cameras working? I don't know if a video capture card will work, ask the guys at bluecherry.net

sorry for the late response.. been out on a trip.
it is a mac mini with intel core duo chip set (latest version).
i have a logitech orbit and a few other logitech camera.. i have been wondering with the idea of running with vmware fusion.. but thought people say i will run into problem.
i am thinking 2-3 usb camera at most..
