i tried your .deb on ubuntu 8.04.1 server and it's work fine.
but i wuold like to test, for other reasons, on debian server. it's possible to have the .deb package for debian?

1.23-3 is went into Debian unstable yesterday. As of just checking right now on http://packages.debian.org/zoneminder, I see:

1.23.3-3: amd64 arm armel hppa ia64 s390
1.23.3-1+b1: m68k
1.23.3-1: alpha i386 mips mipsel powerpc sparc 

So, depending on your arch, it's either there now or will be there soon (I'm assuming you're not running on m68k )

1.23.3-3 includes the ffmpeg fix in -2, plus closes 3 bugs in the Debian bug system.

I'll update my Ubuntu repo in the next day or so and go from -2 to -3 (look for separate posting).
