Hi, i use zoneminder with a btt48 card (kworld), i use 3 b/w camera and they all work great (320*240)
Now i have a Color cctv camera (lyd-805c), this is a ntsc color 12v 1/4 camera.
I triied it straight on the ntsc tv and it works fine.
Now when i try it on the video card, i do get an image but not a correct one.
I did my test at 320/240.
Anyway, if i set the palette to b/w i do get a decent b/w picture.
if i set to rgb24 i see 3 b/w tiny images
other settings have different results, but none works.
Here are pictures of what i get with different palettes

Note: i tried on some other (tested) ports of the card and the results are the same.
Also, i don't think that is a problem, but can you have both b/w and color camera on the card (the card as one chip with switching, 4 channels).
Any ideas what the problem could be (other palette ?, special resolution ?)
Thanks.
Color camera won't work (grey ok)

surely is a SHM (Shared memory) issue.
Go and try to increase It.
Deacrease ring buffer sometimes dont help, specially if you have just a few shm.
Increase it more. i had 190 MB shared memory for 16 cameras, and a ring buffer of 5 (im capturing at 1fps, higher rates, also higher values)
Just try it, i had the same problem, but i've got it working after increase SHM

That will depend in the card you have. If it has a separate bt878 chip for each input then you shouldn't have a problem once you've given the processes sufficient memory. However, if your card has only one bt878 chip, and the different inputs are multiplexed then you need to use the same settings for all the cameras.tcolar wrote:Is mixing b/w and color camera the problem (i hope not).
