Server Sound For Event

Zoneminder has a lot of potential uses, and one of them is the enhancement of the CCTV being monitored in a conventional guardpost/monitoring station. The only major complaint the client has, is the lack of a reliable sound on event option.

Could you add sound to the server (not to exclude the current browser process). It would also be VERY nice if the sound could be tailored to the length of the event. For instance, no sound on events lasting <1 second (this gets rid of nuisance alarms - maybe dangerously so). And, (getting very greedy now) possibly a different sound for each camera.

And yes I have donated, and if I can get this project off the ground hopefully more donations will be on the way. I understand that GPL doesn't mean free, it just means I don't have to type in a 30 digit activation code and I don't have to worry about M$ software audits - another thing the client appreciates!
