Zoneminder and Labtech Webcam Pro

So I'm trying to configure ZoneMinder with a simple Labtec Webcam Pro (046d:08a2).

The problem is I can get the device to work with vlc, but not with xawtv. Also, I cannot get it to work with ZoneMinder as well.

Here is the error i get from zone minder:

Also, I forgot to add the system is Fedora 9 running 2.6.27.5-41.fc9.i686. Zoneminder is version 1.22.3-14 as well.

Once again, thanks for any help! This little camera is driving me up the wall!

Did you manage to get this working?

I have three webcams which all exhibit the same behaviour, "Palette: 0 - Unknown". I haven't had time to look into it for the past couple months. I have seen this issue with 1.23.x and the 1.24.x pre-release.

Do you know if you are running v4l2 or v4l1?

I have the same problem but with eurocase cam.
First, i could install this camera with RGB24, but i install Ubuntu 8.10 and now i cant use zoneminder with this cam. I try all Capture Palette available, but doesnt work.
Now, i working with AnyCam and its full functional with YUV420P.

Some one can help us?
