Low Power or EEE Box

Post by whiteduck »

Hello

Has anyone got Zoneminder running on an EEE Box (i.e. re-installed with Linux)? Failing that has someone found a suitable low power PC that can cope with monitoring 2 usb cameras? I know this is not an exact science as it depends on zone size, webcam type etc but any info would help.

Best regards

The most pathetic system I have it running on is a PII 866 with 256 meg of rambus memory. It has a single chip 4 port capture card. It happily runs about 5 fps with 2 cameras. It does not view locally via Firefox, however.
