Image quality is great in ZM (Using a generic BTTV card)
PTZ controls are a no-go (Need to write the canon.pm for this)
Modetect works great with camera, no flicker or issues

Yes, I figured this camera would be easy to capture from, because the BTTV support is already there and in place.. The main goal of this post is to design a protocol.pm for this camera (and any other Camera based on VC-3 / VC-4 control code)..cordel wrote: Good show though, although cctv cameras will pretty much always work as they are standard based (NTCS, PAL, SECAM, etc...) so you only need a compatible capture card.
Canon also has a line of IP enabled cameras, but I dont have any of those in hand..
