3 events for 1 movement ?

Post by Karl »

Hi All,

I used the LiveCD (cheat !) and have updated to 1.19.4.

It's setup and is working perfectly except for one thing. I have a delivery man this morning walk up my drive (the camera is positioned to look out of the window up the drive) and it divided it into three events ?

Here is the picture of my Zones. You can probably notice there are a lot of inactive zones, but they have to be there because of the momevent caused.

Does it write a new event as he moves between zones ?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Many Thanks,
Karl.

I have experienced the same thing. I don't think it has anything to do with zones, as I don't use them.

I posted previously on the feature requests section, suggesting a way to combine events that are very close together.

The best way to avoid multiple event is just to increase the post event buffer length. This will merge a subsequent event with the first one if it occurs within that number of frames. If you have a high frame rate the default value may only cover a fraction of a second so increasing it will help.
