The harddrive filter and a windows share?

I was wondering if I linked a windows share folder to the event path in Zoneminder, if the filter will work?

Is linux able to read 'free space' in windows shared folders?

I'm a bit of a linux noob, if anyone would be able to answer it would be greatly appreciated.

Can more recent Linux versions handle doze partitions, including NTFS? Sure.

Should you do it? Probably not. I sure wouldn't.
