Help with UBUNTU 8.10 and BT848 card

Hi I realy need help to get my Conexant 848 4 port card to work with UBUNTU 8.10 I'm new user to linux so I need like "UBUNTU for dummys"

please feel free to send me tips and tricks and also how to install the drivers for my card, its JMK low coast card.....

BT848 is a chip that many cards are based on. We need to know exactly which card.

Sen har jag fÃ¶ljt instruktioner frÃ¥n denna sida via Wikin och Documentation. Jag har en lÃ¤nk till men den hittar jag inte nu, har den hemma pÃ¥ datorn. Jag postar den senare ikvÃ¤ll.

Jap har samma kort som du har, trÃ¶ttnade pÃ¥ Ubuntu och laddade in Fedora istÃ¤llet Ã„NNDÃ… har jag samma jÃ¤kla problem.

Har startat mysql och apache kÃ¶r zm consolen fÃ¥r dock inte en antydan till bild ????

kortet fungerar provade det i en xp pc med samma kamera inga problem....

verkar som man mÃ¥ste vara minst raketforskare fÃ¶r att fÃ¥ igÃ¥ng ett fungerande program i linux miljÃ¶.
