mpeg instead of jpeg

Guys, is it possible to have ZM generate mpeg files instead of all the jpegs that it generates in /events folder?

Not possible natively.
I think there are other projects that can though I prefer the jpeg quality myself over the lossy mpeg.

You can currently do 'as well as' but not 'instead of'.

Create a general filter for unarchived events ( I usually create one for archived events for the same purpose as I'm only interested in things I archive).
Put a check in create video.
Name and save the filter and select for it to run in the background.
