ZM 1.24.1 with D-link DCS-2120 on Ubuntu 8.10

Hi everybody!

I moved from ZM 1.23 to 1.24 according to Wiki description http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=13140
With the only difference that I take some ideas and latest ffmpeg sources from "howto" article http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=786095
Russian speaking people can read the details soon in my blog http://cleaner-lab.blogspot.com/
At that time it working perfectly with MJPEG stream in all browsers, BUT

1. It is not work with mpeg stream at all
2. I cant find the right settings for RTSP MPEG-4 camera connecting

VLC rtsp://login:pass@192.168.1.x/live.sdp - work fine
ffplayer rtsp://192.168.1.x/live.sdp
or
ffplayer rtsp://192.168.1.x:554/live.sdp - work without auntification

I would be very much obliged for any suggestion how to solve this troubles.

You could try defining your camera as an ffmpge monitor type with the paths you listed and see how you get on with that.

You haven't said what type of camera etc you have so it is difficult to help much further without more details.

My camera is D-link DCS-2120
As I mentioned it's works fine with MJPEG according to Wiki http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.ph ... k#DCS-2120

but not work with

Remote Protocol - RTSP
Remote Method - any of them
Remote Host Name - 192.168.1.x
Remote Host Port - 554
Remote Host Path - /live.sdp

I still think it's come kind of bug ZM and ffmpeg
