hi, i try ro run the livecd, everyting is fine but when x windows start, nothing happen, i try to use the command livecd xres using all the resolution but still i cant get a x windows, my video card is a nvidia gforce 2 mx400 with 64 mb .
i will apreciate any help

I may be wrong since I have an S3 card, but I believe you hit the nail on the head when you mention Nvidia. The LiveCD is based on Mandrake Community which does not support Nvidia since the drivers are non-GPL. You will need to go to the Nvidia site,
http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_disp ... -6111.html
and download the Linux the driver and documentation, burn it on a CD and run it from the command line. Make sure you have the source files for your kernel installed. It you need them they can be found at:
http://fr2.rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/
You can find your present kernel by typing "uname -r" at the command line.
