A problem when compiling

When I run the "make" command I get these errors in SUSE 11. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Drew.

Hi,
I thought I would add to this thread than start a new one.

I'm using ClarkConnect 4.2 trying to compile from the SVN.

I've installed the relevant devel tools to compile zoneminder, however ./configure is aborting with:

I have installed mysql-devel and I can locate libmysqlclient.a in the file system: /usr/lib/mysql

I'm using the following options with configure:

./configure --with-webdir=/var/www/html/zm --with-cgidir=/var/www/cgi-bin --with-mysql=/usr/lib/mysql

Yet still it aborts not being able to locate libmysqlclient.a ?
Any tips, I would have thought directing it with the --with-mysql option would be enough.

Are you on 64bit OS? I found this via a search for someone having same problem on 64bit:
