zoneminder with linksys WVC54GC

Hi to all, i'm new in this forum and i think Zoneminder is the most powerfull and usefull software for sourveillance in linux and i decide to learn more about this!!

I've read tons of topics and guide to make WVC54GC work with Zoneminder some people use a script and mplayer for extrac jpegs from camera and make a video file bout i don't understand how and the script give mi an error!!! I understand only that .asf is not supported by Zoneminder!

There is actually a method to watch video from a WVC54GC? Also only MONITOR MODE is ok!!!

if you install the new 1.24.1 verison and select 'ffmpeg' it works with the Linksys Camera (work with mine at home as well). You don't need vloopback or other 'tricks' to get an image.

And how can i install 1.24.1 ./configure give me a lot of errors

I've compiled and installed 1.24.1 but when i open http://localhost/zm browser show up me 1.23.3 ....
