zmu fails to open video device

Hi All,

I am trying to setup my first network camera [Panasonic BL-c20], but if I run zmu such as:

sudo zmu -d 192.168.1.253 -q -v

it returns:

Error, failed to open video device 192.168.1.253: No such file or directory

I can see the camera image from Firefox...
Am I missing something?

An IP cam is not a device, there for there is no device file.
Create the IP cam in ZM and check the debug logs.

Do you mean create a Monitor?

I have a headless server, so I can't test the camera with xawtv like suggested in the docs.

I am aware that the image I see with my laptop, using Firefox, is a webpage created by a cgi script:

http://192.168.1.253/CgiStart?page=Single&Language=0

but I have trouble finding the correct address of the image.
Searching for Zoneminder Panasonic bl-c20 didn't get me far.
