usb webcam not running in ZoneMinder 1.24.1

i tried many times but usb webcam not running in ZoneMinder 1.24.1
i tried logitech also.
please help me

Anyways what cams have you tried what os Ubuntu, Fedora, Gentoo etc.

Also some generic advise but does any other linux application see the cams if so what. Have You check the zoneminder logs.
