I've been having some problems lately, hopefully just a combiniation of really minor stuff.
1) I've been getting alot of 'corrupt / missing' images from both my cameras when I click on the live stream. I'm running mozilla (Firefox) and can not recreate this on Internet Explorer
(I have to right click on the frame, reload for the picture to finally appear)
2) My system crashed while I was viewing an event, I rebooted it and my cameras didn't come up. I have a USB camera and BT 878 card, both are detected and assigned proper video devices in /dev/v4l on bootup. I waited and waited hoping ZM would fix itself and never did. I finally had to fool around (change the device path from 0 to 1 on the USB and back to 0). before anything would work. Now I'm getting major trippyness with the USB video. It's grapping pictures from my IR camera (ir camera is connected through the bt878 card) and mixing it with the live view on the USB view. Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this would be great.
I can provide logs if needed, nothing pops out at me in the /tmp/zm*log (s)
Examples (stills) are here:

Okay, so the way i fixed this was changed both cameras from motion detect to none, and then waited a couple minutes then went back to motion detect. this fixed the problem and it's working again.
Obviously i shouldn't have to do this, I don't delete /tmp on restart (i'm unorganized and don't like to delete stuff in there). I don't know if that caused a problem, or what might have happened but this isn't the first time i've ran into this bug

one thing I noticed was that your system looked to go into a 9 pane montage mode( black image though ). When I added a 4th camera( color, 2 NTSC-B/W, 1 USB set to Grey ) to my system, I would get a 3 pane montage and sometimes a 9 pane montage for the camera live stream when I tried to use any color mode. On my system, I did see in the logs that shared memory was not getting allocated and it would screw up other cameras too. I also had this lock up the system hard when I swapped camera 1 with 3. It surely looks like shared memory issues but I've not solved that problem yet.
I found that a reboot could clear up the montage view and allow me to run with grey mode( not color ) again. Stopping and starting ZM didn't work.
I see from your images that you are using color settings and those require much more memory than B/W do. My guess is that you too are having shared memory problems.
