Bulk delete of ZM events

Post by caprio »

I have accumulated a huge number of events and need to delete them. Using the gui
would take me hours. I can always go into the www events directory and delete them
however I'm pretty sure there are corresponding entries in the data base.

Are there any zm scripts/tools which I can use from the command line to
purge events or will I need to roll my own?

Thank you.

Hi,

you can use the zmfilter section for automatic deletion of events e.g. when the disk is getting full you can use the purge when full filter.

Hope this helps

also deleting them on the filesystem ZM will actually figure out that you removed them so you can do that too.
