Saving contrast/brightness with gspca driver

Post by oduesp »

Hi,

I've been struggling with this problem for 2 day, so here is a modest solution if it can help someone.

--------
Centos 5.3 - i386
ZM 1.24.1
Webcam: Logitech QuickCam Express (046d:0928)

Problem:
with the gspca's driver from the rpmforge rpm (dkms-gspca.noarch) you will NOT be able to save your brightness/contrast setting from the ZM web console.

Solution:
use the latest gspca driver from:
http://mxhaard.free.fr/spca50x/Download ... 224.tar.gz

And everything works as expected
