works with firefox but I am not able to work with zoneminder

Post by sercik »

Hi!
i have a network camera that works with activex *internet explorer, but also with firefox and google browser, (when i connect to ipaddress:port i can choose a server push mode that works with firefox).
When i use firefox with that camera i have done right click and properties on video and i have found this address: 192.168.1.11/videostream.cgi
If i give this address to vlc it is able to play live video with some delay and if i put this address in firefox directly i obtain a static image that refresh every time i refresh browser so i think there are good possibility to make this camera working with zoneminder.
This camera is cheap nightvision and outdoor so could be a great possibility if it is possible to make it working under zoneminder.

Please contact me if you need some information...
this is the devide ID 00051DE8501D

the camera is: http://cgi.ebay.it/TELECAMERA-WIRELESS- ... 1|294%3A50

Yes, a publicly accessible address, if you can temporarily throw it on the public-facing side of your router. Or setup NAT to whichever ports it's using, at least 80.
