I just did a fresh install of 1.24.2 on Ubuntu Hardy 64bit
After adding a new zone my ACTi IP camera's are not working.
I noticed that there is no longer a 'Remote Host SubPath' on the Source tab.
Was this by design or did it slip through the cracks?
My 1.24.1 install filled in the value '/track' when selecting the preset for ACTi unicast.

ACTi Preset missing Remote Sub Path

Yes it's intentional, You can use the preset to reset it.

Remote host sub-path
I looked over the forum post you suggested however it didn't yield any clues.
Not having access to the ACTi API make it difficult to figure out whats needed
for the remote RTSP settings. I used the one and only ACTi preset in 1.24.1 which
worked without a hitch. cordel suggested that I use the preset to 'reset it' but I'm not
sure what he means.
Can someone tell me why the 'Remote Host SubPath' is no longer needed in the
1.24.2 ACTi preset? Why was it set to '/track' in 1.24.1 which did work?
I can capture and play back streams using ffmpeg and mplayer.
# ffmpeg -i rtsp://10.16.100.104:7070 /tmp/cam.avi
# mplayer -vo x11 /tmp/cam.avi
I'm using the ffmpeg 0.5 code base. Should I be using a more recent code base for
zm 1.24.2?
My symptoms are the monitor shows a solid gray box with the date and time in the
top left corner. zmdc.log reports:

Yes it's intentional, You can use the preset to reset it.
Use the preset like you are setting the camera up for the first time to insure the values from the preset are in place. The field is gone, it is intentional and likely not coming back.zoneminder wrote:If you change to 1.24.2 then you no longer need (or can modify) the sub path so can throw that away. There are other changes also that may help. I have a Vivotek that works fine with port 554, RTP/Unicast and live.sdp as the host path.
