No image from JVC IP cam

I have a JVC vn-c30u webcam. It works great from the browser. It works great using wget. However, I can only get a black image in ZM. I am not getting any errors in /var/log/messages but I am getting a number of zmc processes starting/stopping/dieing in my zmdc.log file (not sure these are related to my problem).

There is a publicly accessible camera (same as mine) at:

I tried configuring ZM to use this camera and I got the same problem.

Any advise?

If I had to bet I would guess that the image size and colours you have given in ZM is not the same as that which you get back from your image URL. That would cause an assert error which would probably not show up in the messages file but would do so in one of the zm*log files. The other possibility, if your zmc process are being terminated rather than dying, is that zmwatch is killing them because they are not collecting images fast enough for it. Check in zmwatch.log to see if this is the case.

By the way, I can't get anything on the link you provided.

I noticed that the link went down soon after I posted, but I think its back up...
I am actually getting a bunch of these errors in my zmwatch.log:
Can't get shared memory id '2053971973': No such file or directory

Again... not sure if they are related.
