Getting Strange Dates and Times from a simple IP Camera

Post by milhead »

Hi Folks!

I'm having strange times and nonsense durations in the Event record for one of my monitors. It's a wireless IP camera that I'm just grabbing a /snapshot.jpg 3-4 times a second

My other camera which is a webcam off a PC works perfectly...

I've searched alot of posts and seen no mention of this happening.. Does anyone have an idea what is going on or can you point me to an existing thread.

The monitor kinda lives in alarm.. But I've not figured out why yet.. The detection zones are really quite small and just cover the base of the stairs and door from the bottom of the window to the floor.

I have seen similar happen on an overloaded machine. MySQL will return 12-31-1969 on an overloaded system.

You will likely need to profile the system to see whats going on.
