Exporting Video

Is anyone familiar with a way to combine say 4 hours of events into one video for archive?

I am able to use filters and create the videos but I would like to know if someone has a method to grab say 4 hours events and create one video from them all for viewing later.

I would not need access to them via the database but would like to be able to create video, delete those events and then dump them to a directory with timestamps.
