Adding Cameras

I have two Hauppagge 4 port (BNC) style cards, I have zoneminder up and running via installation from live CD, I can add TWO cameras /dev/video0 and /dev/video1 and see live feed from these two cameras, but when i try to add more e.g. /dev/video2,3,4,5,6,7 ect the text for the cameras shows red, and i do not see any feed. all of the cameras are the same model. Also the two cameras that are working are plugged into the 1st BNC port on each card, no other BNC ports seem to work.
