record only mode

Hello,
I'm using zm in record only mode, as a harddisc-recorder with a nice frontend (I like the video-playback).

I would like to see a way to disable the buffer completly, so I may use a hardware-system with only 256 MB RAM which would then be capable of recording in 640x480. At the moment, this is not possible due to the "shared memory" warnings. I decreased the buffer size to 1, but it does not help.

Does someone know, how to disable the buffers?
