Dear Team,
zm seems to work just fine, motion detection, events, stills.... But I cannot see any video. Anytime I click on the monitor, a window with black screen comes up, listing the actual fps values and event, just no streaming.
Any possible causes to this?
No video in zm console, stills are fine
I am experiencing the same problem (CentOS5.3, 32 bit). I can view the stills, but I get a black box when trying to view the video. I have problems in both IE8 (why did I ever upgrade?) and firefox.
I've been tinkering with the settings under Settings > Images. I can make the black box not show up at all, but I can't seem to get the live video I used to be able to get on my old system running 1.22.3. So I know how cool it can be when it works !

Same problem here. Debian Lenny with ZM compiled from source.
Database is fresh and clean (not updated/upgraded).
Still-Images are all correct and get recorded.
All streaming ends with this logged error message:
zms[21347]: ERR [Attempt to fetch string value for ZM_AUTH_HASH_LOGINS, actual type is boolean. Try running 'zmupdate.pl -f' to reload config.]
