In 1.23.x you could choose streaming or Stills..

I was using 1.23.x and finally got my camera to work in the still mode, but no streaming. I thought maybe upgrading to 1.24.2 might help me with the streaming problem. I think I have a plugin problem as I have no problem with video using xawtv. I am using ubuntu 9.04, with firefox 3.0.14 and streaming video just does not work. Firefox is using Totem Browser Plugin 2.26.1 Browser Plugin using GStreamer 0.10.22 can anyone give me any pointers here or tell me what information that you would need to see the problem. It seems to be grabing events in modect, so I am assuming that it is seeing some change in my camera configuration.

shouldnÂ´t there be a common plugin for firefox for zoneminder? it would seem like a good thing.

What are your streaming options? are you using jpg or mpeg? You should use the jpg option, and firefox doesn't need any plugin with that.

Whats on your logs? (/var/log/zm)
