Ware House Monitoring, but limited budget... IP Cam recommen

Post by 4920441 »

Hi,

I got a rather tricky taskt to solve... There is a warehouse with about 74000 ft² to observe.
Currently there are three ip cameras installed (ICamView IP-200 or something) which observe the loading ramps, the main way in the stock area and the entrance.

The ICamView devices offer quiet a good picture, when keeping in mind they only cost about 70 bucks each, but only work with a proxy software in zoneminder. Besides, there are not sold anymore, so you could only get them used, now...

So I am looking for some new cams, which work flawlessy with zoneminder out of the box. But as I need 6 or 10 of them, they shouldn't cost more than around 150US$ each. If they were moveable (I mean the robotic cam thingie, turning left and right and something like that) that would be really great, but not mandatory.

I tried a couple of edimax and logilink ethernet ip cams (standard ethernet, no wireless, I don't like wireless at all!)
but they keep crashing after a couple of hours, even with their latest firmware, that's rubbish...

Could you guys recommend some good, working, reliable IP cameras which are working with zoneminder *AND* don't cost over 150$ each?

Thanks a lot for you help, I really appreciate that.

Cheers,
