motion detection

I have a problem with my zoneminder. I have a camera in a serverrom. if i am working there in 1 hour i get 50 events. Is it possible to set a time before the event/alarm closes?

I had the same problem but changing to the below values improved things a lot:

Image Buffer Size (frames) 80
Warmup Frames 40
Pre Event Image Count 40
Post Event Image Count 40

When i changed this, i cant se the picture more.
