usb cam problem

after a fresh install of ubuntu 9 and zoneminder latest version , every thing seems working good , though im having some strange troubles with usb cam

iv included some pics to show you the problem , i tried different settings and stuff , all the same

im a noob to zoneminder , so pleas try to help as much as you could

also i have an integrated webcam in my laptop , though its not active in zoneminder

forget to say my webcam is d-link DSB_C120
and i installed cheese to make sure its working on ubuntu , well its working , but not as it should be , what i mean , not giving the quality it should give

Is the video quality the same in Cheese that it is in Zoneminder? If so it's not a Zoneminder problem.

no in cheese it works , in zoneminder , its like an old tv with bad signal , so its not working in zoneminder
