Install Help... Blank index.php

Just installed ZM 1.24.2 Install went fine. Starts up fine.. mysql running php and apache running.... Php 5 apache 2

Ok this is where i get the problem. My php test file works fine... but when i try the index.php or zm.php i get a blank page.

I checked my /var/log/httpd/error_log and this is what i get

Is short open tags enabled in php?

Thanks very much. Thats all it was. Just enabled short open tags and poof zoneminder!
